EVP Case Studies:

Each of these case studdies represents a challenge faced by our clients and EVPs approach to dealing with the issue.

HMS – New Orleans Client Meeting

Health Management Systems needed to WOW their clients at a conference in New Orleans. They came to EVP and proposed a creative video that would impress their clients at a conference that was littered with boring PowerPoint presentations. They suggested we fly around the country and gather footage of key players, put a video presentation together that would exceed their clients expectations.

EVP approached this project in a creative way that not only exceeded all expectations, but reduced the budget by 30% and allowed for an extremely high level of communication between HMS and EVP. Instead of flying EVP around the country EVP descended on the conference in New Orleans. The day before the conference we shot the key players (all of whom had to be at the conference anyway) on chroma key, edited the video on-site for the client to review that evening.

By having the key players there for the edit and review, the communication loops were complete and by having EVP travel to New Orleans instead of all around the country costs were reduced dramatically.

State of New Hampshire – Energy Training

The State of New Hampshire turned to EVP to produce a series of videos about an upcoming energy efficiency program. The challenge was to get 500 people trained in just a few weeks on techniques for insulating homes. These people were all over the state so time and distance dictated that this training could not be done in person.

EVP was able to produce three videos in one week and have them distributed to the 500 by the following week. 2000 additional copies of a DVD were out one week after that. We also posted all videos to the internet within days so training could begin immediately. To save time on this project we shot for two days. Edited the rough in one day and then did the final edit on projectors in the State offices. This way all parties, while eating lunch, could have their input saving days of back and forth communication.

EFI-Vutek -  Training

EFI-Vutek makes high end printers that are used to print everything from point of purchase advertising to billboards. These machines are complicated to maintain and operate and very expensive.  EFI has field engineers all over the world that are on call to help customers with mechanical and printing issues. But to send engineers is very expensive both for EFI and for the client.

EVP proposed a series of videos that would train customers on maintenance and operation issues. Through the creation of this library EFI was able to eliminate hundreds of thousands of dollars, while maintaining a positive relationship with their clients.

DSUSA – NYC

Disabled Sport USA (DSUSA) is a not for profit organization that helps people with physical disabilities get into sports. Each year DSUSA hosts a fundraiser that is sponsored by New York Brokerage firms.

EVP creates a video presentation that allows these attendees, who have never been exposed to DSUSA’s work, experience their accomplishments. Each year these creative and poignant videos help DSUSA raise close to one million dollars.

Ragged mountain – Advertising

For a number of years EVP has been producing weekly ads for Ragged Mountain in Danbury, NH. Over time through a specifically branded message, humor and timeliness Ragged mountains ads have created a buzz in the New England broadcast markets. In 2010 Ragged Mountain won the National Ski Areas Association award for outstanding advertising.

PAREI – DVD/CDROM

The Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI) is a not-for-profit organization that helps people plan for future energy price spikes and shortages. They have created a very unique operational model that brings together community members to achieve amazing goals. PAREI needed a way to communicate this message in  a creative way to communities around the US. EVP created a series of DVDs and a CD-ROM that not only described the model to other communities, but gave the tools to those communities to be able to re-create the model. To date this model is being used in communities from Washington State to Maryland and points within.
